  • The Great Bike Hike is an awareness raising event
  • The ride is from Perth to Broome
  • The ride is from August 19 to September 15, 2012
  • The route is nearly 2,500 challenging kilometres
  • The longest ride in a single day is 161km  
  • The highest elevation being ridden is 275m
  • The route will be travelled by up to 12 intrepid riders including Paralympians
  • Over 12 volunteers are supporting riders en route
  • We will stop in 12 towns for celebrations and expos
  • We ride through a further six towns
  • The Great Bike Hike showcases 'Count Me In' principles, partnerships and projects
