About the Wider WA Community
The Great Bike Hike is an initiative celebrating and supporting
programs dedicated to people with disability, mental illness, their
families and carers.
The Great Bike Hike promotes and builds awareness of the Count Me In
objectives and outcomes, linking communities not only along the
planned route, but throughout the city and country areas of wider
If you have a current and successful program, activity or
initiative for people with disability in your community we would
love to hear from you, no matter where in WA you are. Positive
benefits for the wider community can be derived by sharing ideas
with others in a similar situation - enriching people's lives and
building friendships through mutual support.
The Great Bike
Hike's route will include celebration and expos for programs
run in the communities visited, but we are also keen to support
programs and activities operating in wider WA. No matter if you're
in Kalgoorlie, Albany, Dampier or Dalwallinu - or anywhere else in
WA - we want to hear from you. Please contact us to
